About Last Night...

I love Lloyd Cole. I do. His music is the cheese to my macaroni. If I was still of child bearing age and hadn't had my lady bits removed a year ago, I'd have his babies.

Well if you cannot have his babies just stick to practising making them!

Glad you enjoyed the show Mags. How was the theatre?

Mmm there's a thought!
Thornbury Theatre is amazing... quite the treasure in that part of High Street.
Would love to find out how much it is to hire for a tango event...

Ha.. does practising alone count?

I have not been in there to see for myself but have heard from others that it is pretty impressive.

Thanks Deebs... what's your weekend looking like? I think I'll be laying low. The cash flow is not good!

Well Mags I would offer to take you out on the town but I am off to Bris-vegas for my cousins 50th birthday.

Should be a fun get together. No doubt I will do myself some more damage!

Enjoy that DB... I expect full blog report next week!

yep will do Mags. It should be 'interesting'....

My weekends are already getting crazy between now and xmas.

So was the theatre packed?

Lola Lopez said...

Yes the gig was sold out. It was all very adult and civilised- everyone was seated except for the few 'standing room only' people at the back.

dam buster said...

oh no.. the great un washed in the standing room! how uncivilised!

so how is the house going?

Lola Lopez said...

House is going very well actually. We are going to inspect a place in Spotty tomorrow that looks amazing and is cheaper than this one- and hopefully more structurally sound than the one we currently live in!

dam buster said...

ok cool. cheaper and better works for me!

If you need the services of a qualified engineer to do any inspections let me know.

Will do Deebs- thanks... you'll have to head West though. Grab your tracky dacks and VB...
Actually my neck o' the woods is becoming a bit gentrified. If this keeps up, I'll be back in St Albans!

dam buster said...

Well thanks Mags. I will dust off the Moccy's and tracky daks.

Can i request Melbourne Bitter rather than VB?

West is ok for me. not the end of the world... well it is closer to it but certainly not the end of the world!

this is the property we are looking at although I've just noticed the inspection time has changed from tomorrow to Monday. Me no gusta nada!

Monday at 5 to 5:15... jeesh would not want to be stuck in traffic!

House looks ok from the pic. I could literally be on the doorstep in 10mins from my work. So if you get it and have a mental health day you better let me know so I can do the pop in to say gday!

Good to have built in robes.

Lola Lopez said...

Built in robes and lots of cupboards are desperatly needed for the amount of crap we both own!
I'll be starting early to finish early on Monday- thankfully it's not far from the train station. Not sure what Sarah's gonna do as she has to work till 5.30...

Ahh ok. Your current place is not too far from there?

There are some half decent 'antique' shops in that little area.
